BaBa easy chair has been honoured and declared a 2018 Best of Year Awards winner in the Contract Seating: Lounge category

Interior Design gathered more than 1,000 members of the Architecture and Design community to celebrate its 13th-annual Best of Year awards on November 30. Interior Design’s Best of Year is the design industry’s premiere design awards program, honoring the most significant work of the year and recognizing designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.

The awards event, held for the first time at the Jacob Javits Center’s Iconic River Pavilion in New York City, was hosted by Interior Design Editor in Chief Cindy Allen and Publisher Carol Cisco.

Hosts of the event announced the product winners, which included selections from well known and recognized names in interior design industry. Jot.jot‘s Baba easy chair designed by Iskos-Berlin was among the winners, which also included EWE Studio, Vibia, Bernhardt Design, Flos, Artemide as well as many others, and was recognized as the Best of Year in the Contract Seating: Lounge category. Apart from the winners there were many products recognized as honorees, among which there were items by Muuto, Emeco, Carl Hansen & Søn, Herman Miller, Moroso etc.

In total, the Best of Year Awards included an astonishing 2,000 entries and 586 finalists in 133 design categories. View all 2018 Best of Year winners and honorees here.
